WATER TREATMENT

Eco-Tec specializes in integrating water treatment components to provide the highest purity water in a simple, reliable package. Based on target specifications and centred around the proprietary Recoflo® ion exchange technology; Eco-Tec offers water treatment systems that can be composed of spectrum media filters, demineralizers, reverse osmosis membrane systems and condensate polishers.

Our experience in the industrial water treatment has improved profitability and reliability at steel plants and power plants, including nuclear, coal-fired, simple or combined cycle gas-fired plants.

AMINE PURIFICATION

Amine gas treating, also known as amine scrubbing, gas sweetening and acid gas removal, refers to a group of processes that use aqueous solutions of various alkylamines (commonly referred to simply as amines) to remove hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and carbon dioxide (CO2) from gases.

It is a common unit process used in refineries, and is also used in petrochemical plants, natural gas processing plants and other industries. due to the relatively high capital and operating costs as well as other technical factors.

Eco-Tec Recovery Systems offer a simple, economical approach to purifying acid bleed streams, allowing their recycle and reuse. The separated metals can then be cost effectively reclaimed following acid-purification treatment.

For years, electrorefining and electrowinning operations wishing to produce high-purity copper have relied on Eco-Tec’s Systems to continually remove metal impurities from copper and zinc electrolyte bleed streams.

The purified acid can then be recycled back to the tank house. This significantly reduces acid consumption and waste treatment expenses.

Hydrogen Sulfide Removal

H2S REMOVAL

BgPur™ is Eco-Tec’s proven H2S removal system for treatment of biogas from anaerobic digesters or landfills.

The system is capable of treating biogas with H2S concentrations of a few hundred ppmv to over 30,000 ppmv (3%) while reducing the H2S to a just a few ppm to meet downstream requirements for power generation or heating fuel, or to be sold for pipeline or transportation fuel.

The H2S is converted to solid elemental sulfur which has resale potential as a soil enhancement additive or easily disposed of as a non-hazardous waste. It generates no other waste.
